“In the wake of our choices”
Dance Theatre (Dancer)
Directed by Liv O’Donoghue
Produced by Coisceim
Supported by D-Light Studios
(Dublin, Ireland 2019)
In this piece, we confront our fears of the inevitable in a way that I hope can be cathartic or at least make us and our audiences pause a moment. “I’d like to thank all of the dancers for their generosity in allowing themselves to be open to the process and to each other, and as well to thank everyone at CoisCeim for creating this incredible container for creativity and play”. Liv O’Donoghue

Featuring choral song and a chaos of clowns this hour-long show will make you laugh, wince and cry. Look out for the elephant!

Commedia dell’Arte Theatre
“canovaccio from Commedia dell’Arte with masks and actors”
“A hilarious Canovaccio from the Commedia dell’Arte in which characters and masks move at the typical rhythm of this theatre that between paradoxes, gags and twists. This show has peculiar similarities with the fairy tale, but at the same time is a metaphor of reality.”
“Un anno ai piedi della luna”,“Soli”
Contemporary Dance
(Dancer)
Directed by Silvia Bugno in collaboration with Domenico Santonicola
Produced by Centrosperimentaledanzateatro (CSDT)
(Treviso, Italy 2005/2007)
As a performer I collaborated with theatre companies, choreographers and communities in Italy and Ireland, developing skills and awareness as an actor, dancer and clown. The most important thing for me, above all else, is the connection and sharing with an audience, like the sense of mutual nurturing that the performance gives (to me) in that moment. I like to create the intimate space and time of the live performance, and the scene gives me the pleasure to play and switch into an extraordinary “state”… the permission to express and do things I wouldn’t do in my daily life.
I worked with directors Giorgio Bertan, Eleonora Fuser and Barbara Riebolge, Silvia Bugno, Liv O’Donoghue, Veronica Coburn.
