About me
Simona Roveda is an Italian-born, Dublin-based performance artist and physical theatre facilitator.
She uses clown, comedy and movement to explore belonging and nature as a creature in time and space.
“I have always believed in the power of the body to express, connect, create reality and reveal identity, and I use this medium as an art form to connect deeply with myself and others”.
Her practice as performer aims to connect with the audience through laughter to feel humanity in intimate places, and through the poetic body for a mutual revealing. Her passion in working with children, driven by their spontaneity to play, leads her to create spaces for them to capture their authentic voices.
“My vision is a multidisciplinary creative process to collaborate and share knowledge to enrich and nourish each other, to make us better creatures by exploring our nature and healing ourselves”.
