Children's theatre

Once in Ireland, I started to collaborate with the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin, making and performing work for young audiences, for about five years. At that time, I was a mother of 1 year old child, and the magic energy and colourful world surrounding us drove me to create my own props by hand. I dedicated myself to craftwork creating puppets, sets, objects as well as to write stories inspired by Italian novels and revised through children’s eyes, in order to create their reality.
They were often collaborative projects with different artists (performers, musicians, photographers/video makers, tailors), which helped to build my network of connections, and in 2014 I founded the “Littlebellybuttons” Puppet Co, with the puppet show “Who Knows The Little Man of Dreams?” as a magical space where everything can happen. The shows were performed in Italian and English for bilingual children and families.
